Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. The artist has already recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. This brought her some recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an attic piano and becoming enthralled by the music it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to do music just for pleasure or for the sake of growth but rather, she should take it seriously. Her parents inspired her to write. As well as Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. After her mother said that the songs she wrote could be used to not make her famous however, but to encourage individuals to recognize their own value and impact in the world, she began playing them on stage. At age 6, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine, started writing songs. It was unknown by her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her goal. She just loves to write songs. According to her, the music she composes is her way of feeling any thing.
